It has been a while since I last watched a horror movie. Last weekend, when I was looking through the newspaper, Insidious received very good reviews. So I forced Jas into watching it with me. She was a bit reluctant at the beginning but she had no choice. The movie was indeed quite good.

The plot of the movie was surprisingly good. Even though there were some unexpected twist, the flow of the movie was not disturbed. It did not appear confusing to the viewers. However, at the end, some questions arises and we were not very satisfy at the end. Well, I just had to accept it in the way that all horror movie love to end that way and I just have to take what I was given. 

The scary scenes were really scary. I freaked out when I saw the short guy with a hat running around the house at broad daylight. Jas think that the photos closer of the old lady moving closer and closer to Josh were scary. Overall, the horrifying scenes terrified us. Not all were scary. Some were quite hilarious but most of them made us jumped off our seats.

The acting were so so. No one in particular were notably outstanding. The scripts were kinda odd to the point that I felt it might be impromptu script. The mood were awesome. It builts our anticipation. It managed to bring us into the movie. Once we were in, it will attacked our senses and we will be scared. 

Overall rating, 2/5. Good horror movie to wake you up after a day at work.
