Movie Review - Priest

I'm so disappointed with the movie. The story is great but the movie is a true disappointment. I like the concept of the story. It is very fiction and creative. It gave priest a whole new role to human race.

The flow of the movie is bad. The plot is predictable. There were a few awkward moment like the sentimental scene between Priest and Priestess (I don't understand why you needed that part there). There is one more scene where Hicks pointed a gun at Priest, asking him not to kill Lucy even though she is infected. Then he realised that Priest is actually Lucy's father. These two scenes were the most awkward among the few that I can remember.

It is an action-packed movie but the action scenes were just not good enough. The fighting scenes are always dark and gloomy. The vampires were too easy to kill. The priest looks very invulnerable.

Nothing much to comment about the scripts because it felt very random and impromptu.

The animations were okay to me. Here's the funny part. For those of you who watched Legion, also starring Paul Bettany, the vampires in Priest actually resemblance the angels in Legion. I can't help it but to think that these two movies were created by the same people. They just used the angels from Legion and change it to Vampire in Priest.

Overall rating, 1.5/5. I wanted to rate it 1/5 but I added 0.5 for the very creative story. A good story told badly.
